Amalfi Coast offers unique and picturesque landscapes for excursions lovers.

Wear comfortable shoes, a backpack with the bare necessities and set off to discover places where pristine nature is the master.

We provide below a list of excursions not to be missed during your stay on the Amalfi Coast:

  1. Il Sentiero degli Dei: A walk made in heaven, this panoramic footpath between Agerola and Positano is one of the most spectacular on the whole of the Amalfi Coast.
  • Departure point: Agerola or Praiano.
  • Arrival point: Nocelle, a fraction of Positano.
  • Duration: 3hrs circa.
  • Kilometers: 7,8 km.
  • Difficulty: easy. The path is not suitable for those who suffer from vertigo.

 

  1. La Baia di Leranto: Walking across waves of rock, amidst shimmering, silver-leafed olive trees and bushes of brilliant yellow broom, to reach the paradisiacal little beach opposite the Faraglioni of Capri.

  • Duration: circa 4 ore

  1. Punta Campanella: An expedition to the furthest point of the Amalfi Coast and the Minerva Sanctuary, where, legend has it, Ulysses was seduced by the Sirens.
  • Departure point : Termini (fraction of Massa Lubrense)

  • Duration: 2hrs (return journey)

  1. Il Santuario Dell’Avvocata: Following in the footsteps of the faithful, up the steep path which from Maiori leads to the Sanctuary of the Madonna dell’Avvocata: a medieval hermitage gazing out over the Bay of Salerno.
  • Departure point : Maiori
  • Arrival point: Maiori
  • Duration: 6-7 hours (return journey)
  • Kilometers: 16
  • Level of difficulty: requires considerable effort

 

  1. Il Vallone delle Ferriere: An expedition through the jungle of ferns which carpets the slopes behind Amalfi, discovering the ruins of the towns medieval foundries.
  • Departure point: Pontone
  • Arrival point: Amalfi
  • Duration: 3 – 4 hrs
  • Kilometers: 6
  • Difficulty: easy

 

  1. Il Sentiero Dei Limoni: The ancient road that joins Maiori and Minori has in the past been one of the busiest streets of the Amalfi Coast, especially for the cultivation of lemons
  • Departure point: collegiate church of Santa Maria a Mare di Maiori
  • Arrival point: Minori, stairs of Via Vescovado
  • Duration: about 1 hour (return journey)
